One of the things I LOVE abut living in Durban South Africa - is the rich influence of the Indian Culture. It means that I am able to source vintage saris to recycle and use for creating colourful new products!
These Sari Ropes are made from thin tubes of vintage sari fabric, which are knotted and filled with glass marbles to make a colourful rope. The shade on the length of the rope transforms from the sari border colours through to the main colour and back to the border colours and pattern again - making it's sari origins clear!

Shipping: Parcels are shipped within 3-4 business days from the time payment is received. South Africa - Products are shipped with Econoparcel at a cost of R25, except for larger items, which are sent at normal parcel rates. Overseas - Parcels are sent registerd airmail with the South African Post Office. Each customer is responsible for import fees which may be levied by their country’s border control. You will be notified by email once your product has been shipped and it should arrive within 2 weeks. Local Durbanites - Pick up can be arranged. Vintage Refreshed: Our products are all hand-made. Many of them make use of vintage materials. Please understand that these may show signs of wear and tear. Appreciate the unique touch that the passing of time has added to the product. Your product may vary from the one photographed, as most of the products are handmade and the recycled material may vary.
