Freshly Found is full of unique designers, most of them from Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. Here is a little information about the creators we show on Freshly Found

  • Denise Kiggan

    is fascinated by all things quirky and vintage.  She heads up Freshly Found and creates fresh new products from found materials!

  • Christy Kiggan

    is a talented Creative Brand Communication student with an eye for good design. She is a wiz with her Mac and her graphic work is hugely enjoyed here at FF!

  • Sandile Sithole
    Sandile Sithole

    is a talented young man with a broad smile that lights up his face. He and his team do a lot of the Bibliogami work. The Vintage Refreshed philosophy of  Freshly Found is played out in his brilliant beading too. He works meticulously at this age old local craft and brings it right up to date with clean bright colours and lines.

  • Claire Norden
    Claire Norden

    Claire Norden is a dynamic graphic designer, artist, children's book illustrator and craftswoman from Kloof in KZN South Africa.

    She creates the most amazing Kusudama work and is a very talented embroiderer!

     

  • Colette Jensen

    The lovely Colette with a gentle French accent is very experienced with her crochet hook. What a privilege to have her on board. She is a whizz at crochet work and great to have her as part of the team.

  • Justin Thomson

    Justin is the owner of Fuel Design Emporium - and his creative energy, graphic design and photography are a huge part of the Freshly Found Brand!

  • Callie Purdon

    Callie brings some young, talented blood to the Freshly Found Team. Her passion for designing  jewellery and all things clever and creative is inspiring! She is a student in Pietermaritzburg and lives in KZN, South Africa.

  • Lucy Mabaso

    Lucy is a local craftswoman who is talented with crochet and all sorts of other hand work. 

  • Hlengiwe Mbambo

    is a strikingly tall, gracious and talented. She lives in the green hills of KZN and has dreams of becoming a nurse one day. She learnt the traditional art of beading and interprets this is in a funky way on footwear! Previously only sold locally in her area, we are delighted to be able to add her products to the Freshly Found portfolio.

  • Ama-Bhungezi

    The ladies of iBhungezi are part of a project that restores hope to the local valley communities by creating an employment opportunity that gives both income and affirmation. The project provides training and support and an avenue to express their creative talent, resulting in some beautiful work!
